Some Sunday morning recap thoughts: Morton swept every subcaption in 1A-2A. Galesburg 2nd across the board in 1A-2A except for Visual Ensemble and Visual GE, beaten by Eureka, in Todd Stalter's final ISU. 1A between IVC and Eureka was not particularly close; IVC did beat Eureka in Music GE 1, however. Maybe time to entertain the thought of moving sessions around? Marian wins every subcaption in 3A-4A save for Visual Individual (Batavia) Elk Grove the surprise in 3A-4A? 3rd place in 3A-4A in Music Ensemble, 4th in Visual Ensemble. The individual scores hurt them (10th and 9th) Oswego East's visual ensemble scores are what kept them out of finals. They beat Warren Township in Music and GE, right on them in visual individual, and a full point behind them in visual ensemble, which led to a .6 difference in visual. I think Marian and Morton (along with O'Fallon) are solidly in the discussion for making St. Louis finals next week. Morton with a resounding win, Marian with two very solid performances.

I think it might be a little bit of waiting on the overlords from the Big Ten to release the 2025 schedule as well, and they have the October 25 date as well just in case U of I has overlap. This currently provides BOA groups the opportunity to tentatively attend the Indianapolis super regional (my best guess is October 18th based on the ISSMA schedule) and St. Louis which will likely be October 25th. 2014 and 2008 were both October 11th as well. The 2025 schedule is about to get real condensed.
