  1. Hello, I apologize if this in not the right place to post but coming from an old Drum Corps Planet follower, you may understand how I got here. Here is the letter we are sending to Marching Bands. Were are looking for Marching Units to be in the Middleton, WI parade. Here is our letter. Please forward to those groups who are in need of performance opportunities. Thank You for letting me post this, I am very passionate about what music and being involved in Marching groups have taught me. I and others on the committee also want to provide opportunities for young musicians. -Jodie 5/6/18 Dear Marching Band Director, The Middleton Good Neighbor Parade Committee would like to invite your marching band to be a part of our parade on August 26th. The theme this year is Mardi Gras. As you know, live music is such an important part of a successful parade. We hope that your group will contact us for a spot in this years parade. The Middleton festival has been a strong community building event and your group will have the opportunity to perform in front of thousands of people on the Banquet (That is what they call a sidewalk in New Orleans). If you would like to come and perform at our parade, please respond to Stephanie Mueller at steph.moen.mueller@gmail.com Please visit the webpage at http://goodneighborfestival.com/ and follow us on Twitter and Facebook. Also, if you know any marching bands who are in need of a performance event, would you please forward this info to them. We would like your application of interest by June 1st. We will respond to your submission within a week. We look forward to booking your spot for this years festivities. Fees associated to having your group perform will be set by our parade committee. See Y’all at the Good Neighbor Festival, for a fun day in the Middleton Big Easy!
