  1. Morris Community High School in Morris, IL is seeking several (paid) instructor positions for the 2018 Marching Band Season. 1) Woodwind Instructor. This is a season long position for a woodwind specialist. This person would be in charge of woodwind music rehearsals, and troubleshooting section issues during full music and visual rehearsals. Woodwind techs and section leaders would report to this person first. Duties would include leading sectionals, being on the field during full ensemble, and other tasks as assigned. Rehearsals are typically Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-9pm once school starts. Attendance at football games and competition days would be preferred but not required. Experience teaching marching band music and visual rehearsals preferred. Stipend is $1500 for the season (roughly 150 hours of rehearsal time). 2) Several positions available for Visual and Music Techs during our 2 weeks of camp in Morris, IL. July 30th-August 3rd, August 6th-10th from 8am-5pm. Responsibilities would include running visual and music sectionals, assisting with full ensemble visual rehearsals, and other responsibilities depending on strengths of the individual. $600 for the two week commitment (72 Hours Total).
