  1. Time for a change

I feel like Dan Balash has done an incredible job over the years taking over this site and running with it, however, I think it's time for him to pass the torch to someone ready to take this site over. We haven't had a main page post in over a year. We can still drive traffic here and people regularly check the site for schedules and show information. I've attempted to have private conversations and every time met with silence. Please let's work as a community to keep this site moving forward.
  2. TF South HS in Lansing, IL (South Suburbs) has an immediate opening for our Colorguard Director position for the fall as well as Winterguard seasons. We are seeking someone who is engaging, energetic, and will be a great team player within the TF South Band Staff. Competitive guard experience (at least competitive HS and/or Drum Corps) preferred. Anyone interested should email their resume and any questions to John Haney, Director of Bands. JHaney@tfd215.org
  3. Sad News

It is with great sadness that I tell you all that Christopher Tedeschi, the band director of Crete Monee High School has passed away. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts.
  4. BOA Grand Nats

Watching that final, it was pretty apparent there was a band that didn't belong in that group. The fact that Homestead was outside looking in was wrong. That said, easily the best semi-finals I've ever seen, and O'Fallon was outstanding. I hope they continue to improve, cause they would have been just as exciting to watch in that finals as others, if not more than at least one group.

  11. Scores for the weekend of October 17, 2015

Lockport's draw killed them. Their show was clearly the better of the two on the field last night. But congrats to All the finals bands, and everyone on their seasons.
  12. Scores for the weekend of October 10, 2015

Dan, do you need someone to take over the scores posting?

  14. Who MAKES FINALS from 1A-4A at ISU

Bloomington is ahead of lemont, NW isn't guaranteed. This is a HARD year for 1-4. Let's not forget Lincoln Way West in this mix. Predicting the expected class winners, Eureka, Morton, Catholic, LWN, with West, West, Limestone. With LW Central on the bubble. This is a great ISU year.
