This year will be our 101st anniversary for the parade! Please fill out the Google Form below as soon as possible if you plan on attending. Mardi Gras will be held on October 28th 2023. It is always a great, friendly competition, as it is usually your last competition for the season. We love to provide uplifting and purposeful comments for a great season closer. The field show typically starts around 1:00 depending on the number of entries and the parade will begin at 7:00 pm with awards presented right after the parade. EACH BAND IN THE PARADE RECEIVES $100. Additionally, thanks to our Chamber, our prize money for the parade has been increased–$300 for first, $200 for second, and $100 for third. There will be a single first place prize for all the Junior High bands. We will be charging $150 for field show participation. The field show awards will be trophies. Additionally, there will be a prize of $500.00 for the band having the highest combined parade and field show score. Bands will be divided by class based on school enrollment.
