The Newton Marching Eagles Band Classic will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Newton Community High School in Newton, Illinois. The Newton Band Classic is a morning/early afternoon competition and can easily be paired with Robinson High School\'s evening competition which is held the same day. At the Newton Band Classic, bands will be classified based on school size. Trophies will be awarded for Best of Class in color guard, drum major and percussion; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class; Ms. Domineck Award for Most Crowd Appeal; and Grand Champion to the highest score overall. The fee for the Newton Band Classic is $175. Entry form and fee are due August 30th.
