The 16th annual Quincy Senior High Marching Band Parade & Field Competition will be held on Saturday,October 15, 2011 in Quincy, Illinois. The competition features marching bands from Illinois, Iowa and Missouri. The parade begins at 2:00 p.m. and the field competition
begins at 5:15 p.m. at Flinn Stadium. Bands will perform on the newly installed astroturf surface installed the 2011 summer in the stadium. Bands may perform in either the parade or field competition individually or both. Sweepstakes awards are presented by school size, musicianship levels and by state.
