| Details:After another successful Concord Invitational last season, we enter the 27th annual year for this wonderful event. The contest was first held in 1982 with twelve competing bands. For many years, as many as 35-40 bands from across the state competed at this yearly event. The contest is sponsored by the Concord Music Association and the Concord High School Marching Minutemen which will be performing in exhibition at the culmination of the evening. There is ample parking, and a full line of concessions is always available.
