Lincoln-Way Central will be performing...

A show about:

1) Emotions (2002, 2005)

2) Nature (2001, 2003, 2004, 2007)

3) It just won't be good. (2006)

I'm guessing either emotions or nature. I hear things from people but I've learned never to believe any hype that comes out of good ol' LWC. I hope they do well! This will be my first ISU in two years and I'll actually be at ISU for school!

Effingham is doing "New World Symphony".  And, I'm excited because we're going to ISU this year for the first time.

Hey, that's cool. We have quite a few lines from New World Symphony in our show at Morton this year.

See you at ISU, hopefully!

Central's show is entitled "360" ("Three-Sixty"?) and is most DEFINITELY different than anything I've seen/heard/marched - it's an exciting departure for the Marching Knights! I'm so excited!

Stagg - doing Key Poulan show. I hope it's legal this year. :)

Not really a fan of Key original shows, but best of luck.

Prospect.................Oh Prospect, are we really doing Bjork? Say it ain't so......

I like the Herscher idea - could be neat.

Oh Lemont - are we trying to copy Naperville North? I am just waiting for the massive props to could the field.

I believe this was gone over several times. Stagg was never sued. The publisher's were fully aware of the show. It was legal.

Actually - I know for a fact that they performed the Carolina Crown version of the show. They got it illegally from Nick Konwerski because he had a copy of all the parts when UT had done it (legally). Stagg performed this version, which Hal Leonard does not allow anyone to do, it's the old Carolina Crown version, not the new version which they have bought the rights to.

Nick also gave the percussion parts to Stagg that UT's drumline instructor wrote for the show without the old instructor's permission. UT did not purchase the drum parts, just the wind parts. He found out about this and demanded payment, which he received for his parts after the fact.

I'm sorry - it was not legal. Please check your copyright facts. If Hal Leonard found out about it - they would have at least made them pay for it, but I know if anyone calls them to do this version, they say no. Either way- they would have found out about it after the fact and demanded payment, which does not make what they did legal to begin with.

Edwardsville's show is entitled "Enigma". It is a 5 movement piece with no breaks in between movements.

It is comprised of music from A Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra by Benjamin Britten. It is arranged by Aaron Guidry. Percussion parts by Marvin Battle.

Drill is written by Scott Rankin and Marvin Battle (our director).

Here is a midi version of the show:
