2005 marching band competitions

Recommended Posts

It'll probably be awhile untul those dates are released, or even known by the directors themselves. Just count on some good ol marching band every weekend in September and maybe even a lil in late Aug and beginning through mid Oct.

Yup! Literally every weekend there's a show. LWC will most likely be here:

Lake Park Lancer Joust

Downers Grove South Mustang Music Bowl

Chicagoland Marching Band Festival (Wheeling for the normal people here)

Illinois State Marching Band Invite (ISU)

Lincoln-Way Invite (At LW East, we aren't @ssholes and compete in our own show)

Bands of America (if not Indy, then St. Louis or Pontiac where we stand a chance)

We went out of state 2 years ago. But we are never the top band at any of those shows and I guess our directors don't like middle of nowhere shows like Metamora and the like. LP, Marian, Prospect, East in some combo were at all those shows.

Back to the original discussion of the topic, metro east is going to be held in late septmeber. I dont know which bands are going. Last Year Francis Howells schools, Blue Springs, and Belleville schools competed. Also our show is latin based this year.

there typically the best programs in missouri even though we've beaten them, theres Francis Howell, Francis Howell Central, and Francis howell north. Howell north made it to semi-finals at boa last year. So most of them are pretty well repsected.
