Attached you will find the recap scores for the 2012 Prospect Knight of Champions.  A mistake was made at the competition in the AAA class award for Outstanding General Effect.  At the competition Outstanding GE was awarded to Lake Park.  After further review the correct outcome for Outstanding GE is a tie between Lake Park and Morton.

Our sincerest apologies to the Morton band for the mistake.  We strive to run an error free competition and we deeply regret our error.

Congratulations to all the bands who competed at Knight of Champions today.  It was a picture perfect day for a marching band competition and all of the bands brought their best.  Thanks to all for a wonderful competition.

Andy Loeffler

Knight of Champions Coordinator

ISU could be a nail biter.

And Glenbrook South and Lockport, both of whom will be at ISU, weren't far behind

For the record, I thought Lockport's ("Ritual") show last year was FABULOUS. I think I liked it at least as much as our own.

At least.

Maybe it was the acoustics, or the seating, but didn't much care for it at the Jones Dome edit to correct:  Silverdome, but by the time ISU rolled around....WOW. It flowed beautifully. A lot of shows are like that. You just can't bet the rent on what happens during the season. It's a process.

And don't forget about Hersey. The 5A/6A block looks to be super competitive.

Talk about a hot mess.

Ugh... that expression just irks me for some reason.

"saxyman"?  ;D

in any event I have no clue as to the authorship of the expression. It seems to be a current colloquiolism.
