Now I see why you didn't go, Dan.

It rained a lot my junior year at MHS when we were at ISU and I was on crutches AND missing game one of the World Series (that the Cardinals won), good memories.

Has ISU ever been called off due to rain or storms?

I think if prelims can get in today, that will be about it, weather looks iffy all day, but if they can get past the next 2 hours, the afternoon might cooperate, but I bet prelims won't get done till 7 or 8 with delays

The competition is already on about an hour and a half delay. Even if they cut the breaks between 3A and 4A and 5A and 6A, they only pick up 14 minutes. 5A-6A awards is not supposed to happen (originally) until 6:05, and it'll be 7:30 or thereabouts when that happens now. Finals is not looking very good.

I say let the 1A-4A judges go the entire day, and have the 5A-6A judges provide comments, but no scores.

It makes no difference if the same judges do all prelims....the 1a 2a groups won't get a fair comparison with 5a 6a with a 2 hour delay in the middle.

If they started at 9:00, the last band would take the field at 12:02 AM.
Is this in any way an official sched...are bands playing now

Antioch was the first band at approximately 1:15. Marian is taking the field right now. Apparently a few bands have dropped, and a few breaks have been eliminated. We'll let you know who's dropped.

I was debating heading down for finals...any clue whether or not they plan to hold them? I'd assume they would prefer to get finals in if the weather clears, but do not want to end up down there and be forced back.

Not sure what anyone knows, but would be greatly appreciated.
