The first annual Gateway Marching Classic, presented by the Collinsville High School Band Parents, is an afternoon/evening contest. It is open to any band that applies, but space will be limited to 12 competing bands for the first year. Bands are divided into three classes by band size and compete for awards in music, visual, percussion and auxiliary and Grand Champion.

This year will also feature the Marching Illini in Exhibition!
