The Prospect High School Band Boosters will be sponsoring the 25th annual Knight of Champions marching band competition on Saturday, October 2 at Prospect High School, 801 W. Kensington, Mount Prospect, IL. Bands will compete in three classes: A (up to 64 members); AA (65-96 members); AAA (97 or more members.) Awards presented will include first, second, and third in Class A, AA, and AAA. Additional awards for outstanding percussion, auxiliary, music, visual and general effect will be given to each class. Participation awards will be presented to all bands who perform. There will be caption-specific commentary and scoring and an overall Grand Champion travelling trophy. The Knight of Champions uses the Bands of America scoring rubric. We hope to make our 25th anniversary a fun and memorable event for everyone. We hope to see you there.
